We have some excellent news to share! After three years of commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and 9 months of intensive work, we are proud to announce that Optimal Ways has obtained B Corp certification. This achievement marks an important step in our journey towards a more sustainable and responsible ecommerce. We are also delighted to be able to join the community of 8,000 certified B Corp companies worldwide.

What is B Corp certification?

B Corp certification is a global recognition awarded to companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. It is awarded by B Lab, a non-profit organization, and represents a concrete commitment to using business as a positive force for the common good. A three-year journey towards sustainability
Our CSR approach began three years ago with a clear vision: to integrate the principles of sustainability and social responsibility at the heart of our operations and corporate culture. Here are just some of the initiatives we have put in place:

  • reducing our carbon footprint: joining Enercoop, a French cooperative supplier of renewable electricity, reducing our electricity needs, optimizing our business travel and reducing our electricity needs.
  • community involvement: partnership with the 1% for the Planet France collective to support social and environmental projects and volunteer work with charities in the Lille area.
  • employee well-being: implementation of workplace well-being and continuous training policies.

Nine months of hard work

Achieving B Corp certification has not been an easy journey. We spent nine months examining and improving our practices, following a rigorous assessment process. This certification is the result of a collective effort by our entire team, committed to meeting and exceeding the high standards required.

Why is this certification important?

For us, B Corp certification is not an end in itself, but a starting point for taking our commitment to sustainability and ethics even further. It offers several advantages:
