Our spring seminar was held on the shores of Lac du Héron, at the Quanta association. As an ESAT (Etablissement et service d’aide par le travail), Quanta contributes to the social involvement of adults with disabilities, suffering from autistic and/or psychic disorders, and enables them to integrate into society and the world of work. To this end, Quanta hosts a theater company and a restaurant: L’Estaminet.

Throughout the morning, the Optimal Ways team worked on internal organization and optimizing the management of customer requests. The many ideas shared will be implemented over the coming weeks. At Quanta, we were welcomed with open arms in a cheerful, friendly atmosphere. The team of waiters and bartenders were attentive to our every need, and the kitchen team offered us original and delicious dishes. A place where life is good! After these meetings in this exceptional place, we joined La Remise enjouée for an afternoon of volunteering. La Remise enjouée is an association that promotes the professional integration of people who are far from employment. Their team collects, renovates and resells second-hand toys and games at low prices, making them accessible to all! On the afternoon’s agenda: sorting toys, completing them (when you’re lucky enough to find THE missing piece, it’s a great joy!) and testing out a number of puzzles! The whole team got into it with gusto! The seminar enabled us to take our internal organization to the next level, and to discover a friendly, endearing place that’s a little more open to differences. And to share a moment of volunteer activity with the cheerful Remise team. A great introduction to the world of solidarity and integration through work!
