As part of our commitment to the 1% for the Planet France collective, Optimal Ways is pleased to actively contribute to the fight against deforestation by supporting the Cœur de Forêt association. We have chosen to sponsor the “Bolivie Coroico” project, located in the heart of the tropical Andes near the town of Coroico. This project in Bolivia proposes a global vision combining beekeeping and the regeneration of forest ecosystems. Thanks to our partnership, 313 trees have been planted, reinforcing reforestation efforts in this precious region. Our support has also encouraged the development of meliponiculture. Meliponiculture is the breeding of melipon bees, indispensable pollinators for endemic plants. It provides a new, fair source of income for the beekeepers we support, by raising their awareness of the impact of deforestation and pesticides. Then, by preserving these endemic bees, it improves local biodiversity. Meliponiculture is one of the doors that will lead us to this harmonious coexistence between humans and their environment. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the entire Coeur de Forêt team for their dedicated work in favour of reforestation and the preservation of our planet. Together, we’re working towards a greener, more sustainable future. ✨ Watch the video presentation[here].
