The United States is doing rather well, while Europe continues to lag behind. Growth in the Asia-Pacific region was lower than expected, while Latin America recovered.

The following 4 trends were shared in retail:

  1. experiential” retail : offering customers a connection that is emotional, engaging and immersive.
  2. Artificial intelligence: AI will revolutionize everything. No process and no solution will be spared.
  3. the economy of creators and influencers: Tiktok and Liveshopping are currently driving the business.
  4. a change of role for stores, which can become warehouses, order processing centers, relay points, etc.

According to the IHL Group, the main technological priorities in retail today are :

  1. personalized customer experience (61%)
  2. CRM upgrade (54%)
  3. increasing the power and responsibility of in-store sales teams (53%)
  4. inventory visibility (46%)
  5. refreshing sales outlets (38%)
